What is the BestHotels.bg site, and how could it be useful to me?

BestHotels.bg publishes a ranking for the past year of the best 100 hotels, which are part of a total of over 1200 three-, four-, and five-star hotels in Bulgaria. The ranking is based entirely on a mathematical algorithm that takes into account aggregated information from reviews of guests who stayed at the respective hotels on international platforms and OTAs.

In order to remain as impartial and objective as possible, the ranking excludes the participation of any jury.

In addition to the ranking of the top 100 hotels in Bulgaria based on guest ratings, the site provides the opportunity to check the availability and prices of these hotels (using Booking.com), including visualizing the offers on Google Maps.

Which reservation systems does BestHotels.bg use?

If you're interested in booking a specific hotel, BestHotels.bg directs its visitors to Booking.com. In some cases, when hotels offer special prices for certain periods, BestHotels.bg refers its users to the Grabo.bg group shopping site.

Why should I use BestHotels.bg when I decide to book a hotel in Bulgaria?

The Bulgarian hotel market is diverse, not only due to the number of hotels but also because of their specialization - city, seaside, spa (with mineral water), mountain, and leisure.

BestHotels.bg provides a free and unbiased evaluation of hotels in Bulgaria, offering users the opportunity to make an informed choice based on their own criteria.

Do hotels pay for their inclusion in BestHotels.bg?

All hotels meeting the criteria of the BestHotels.bg rating (having three or more stars and 20 or more rooms) are included free of charge.

How often is the BestHotels.bg rating prepared?

The BestHotels.bg rating is compiled at the end of each calendar year and announced at a special ceremony in January of the following year. This ceremony is sponsored by commercial companies and attended by hotels included in the rating.

Yes, every hotel included in the TOP 100 and/or TOP 10 Best Hotels indexes can share that it holds a relevant position by referring to the rating.
